[after a moment, he seems to find what he was looking for and returns to offer Cobalt a ~four-page contract to review. the beautiful cursive stipulates things like whose room in what cabin from which Family the work will be performed, who will be doing said work (blank for now), what sort of work will be performed (with a few blank spaces), and which kind of tools and or Blessings will be used for it (also blank). it then goes on to detail how no harm or any kind of effects (physical, mental, emotional, or otherwise) should come to any of the Forge members working on it, but also not to any other inhabitants of the Siren's cabin or guests who may be there while the work is being done.
the legalese isn't completely incomprehensible, but it is advanced enough to require close attention in order to parse exactly what it all means.]
The more specific I can make it, the safer it will be for everyone involved, so I'll need some help filling in the blanks. Let me know if there's anything else that feels like it's missing, also...
[he appears to be able to get though the part relating to harm and effects on Forge and Sirens and Sirens guests without crazy difficulty, thank you FOSHA, but struggles through the rest]
Man. Do you have actual lawyers helping when you do this stuff? This is crazy precise already, at least to me.
Sirens is a pretty different career…guess you really do gotta do what you love, huh?
Anyway, it does look good to me, though I ain’t an expert in most legalese. The safety parts are pretty airtight, at least, they read a lot like Forge’s.
Re: Day 244
Which is why it's useless in emergencies.
Re: Day 244
Did you ever finish up the one you wanted to do so we can work on your room—?
Re: Day 244
Re: Day 244
But…?
Re: Day 244
I-It can probably wait.
Re: Day 244
[slightly plaintive]
Was yesterday so embarrassing you just don’t wanna work with me anymore?

Re: Day 244
Would... you prefer to have something to work on, then? Like a distraction?

[eyeing his hands like ???]
Re: Day 244
O-Okay! Okay.
[and then stiffly turns around to go look through a pile of papers on his desk]

Re: Day 244
Oh... No? Well, my mother more or less trained me, since she really wanted me on the Order.

[a small smile at him]
I'd be happy to work on it whenever you want.
Re: Day 244
W-Whenever you guys have the time is fine. I can... clean this up and just have you all fill in the specifics once you're here.
Re: Day 244
