Pretty much. It’s a separate skill from like, the people skills they actually hand you in Sirens, or at least that’s the impression I’ve gotten.

I think that really sucks and sometimes I wish I could kidnap all the Sirens I’ve got to know here outta Sirens. Not like in a creepy way. But just like, an enforced no-performing no-masking no-shucks-this-is-all-just-part-of-being-a-performer sabbatical. I know every one of you has a reason they’re doing it and this isn’t actually about me but holy moly holy cow holy butternut squash.

Also I wanna invent a mechanical dog that can defend people AND call security the second someone starts being weird at them because of Sirens.

I dunno if it’s close-close, but Forge and Arias have been pretty friendly here on the ship…? Before that I’d just ran into Jem once or twice at the cat cafe, we didn’t really know each other or anything.

They still took a chance on mostly strangers, you know? Forge would still mostly be keeping to our workshop otherwise. Most of us ain’t actually that comfy around a lot of people.

I think you being comfy around Arias more than makes up for that.
